February 08 – Color Comes Home
With each feature well we look for new ways to graphically explore each issue there. Past themes include prefab, small spaces, archive, and sustainability to name a few). At times these design decisions can be really subtle. With the February 08 issue "Color" we chose a mix of light background tints for all of the facing pages (pink, blue, green, orange, yellow, and purple). We made sure not to duplicate any of the color pairings and linked the color of the captions to each background color. This is also the first issue where we debuted Greta and Greta Mono to our readers.
